Collinwood’s biggest pop-up experience! Small business owners and entrepreneurs share their products or services with the Collinwood community. They will have the opportunity to operate like a traditional business owner minus the risk—additionally, the community can support local small businesses and invest dollars back into the neighborhood. The East 185th Exhibit will show small business owners that East 185th is a great place to build and grow their business.
Ultimately, the goal is for businesses to establish a permanent residence on East 185th through a small business incubator. Business incubators are organizations geared toward speeding up the growth and success of startup and early-stage companies. They are often a good path to capital from angel investors, state governments, economic-development coalitions, and other investors.
