ESPC Presents: Looking Back
July 21 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pmFree
Looking Back makes their ESPC debut, featuring classic tunes from the 70s and more.
As performers, Ron Redfield and Steve Sigetic have been working together for nearly 50 years. Guitarists for Cleveland’s popular Back Seat Romance, they are proud to hold the attendance record for the Akron Agora. After BSR broke up, the two went on to form a new band called QUICK, which toured the states extensively into the 80’s. Ron then started Dreamstreet, an original progressive rock group that opened for national acts such as Kansas, BOC, and Thin Lizzy.
Nicholas Kopko is a music educator and has performed all across the US with various rock, pop, and jazz musicians. Besides drumming for LOOKING BACK, Nick is a high school drumline and steel band instructor, and teaches private lessons to nearly 60 students.
John McLaughlin discovered his love for rock and roll as a youngster, but since then has studied and performed nearly every genre of music. When John isn’t playing keyboards or guitar for LOOKING BACK, you might find him working with other local acts TIME WARP and NOT ANOTHER BAND.
Gary Facemeyer took up the bass guitar at the age of 11 so that he could join his father’s band working the clubs. After serving his time in the Air Force, and playing in bands across the country, Gary returned to Ohio and joined his family’s band The Facemeyer Trio, playing area restaurants and wineries for over 30 years.
All concerts are FREE and open to the public, but we do ask for donations at the break to help subsidize the payment of the bands and other productions costs. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, relax on the shore of Lake Erie, and enjoy not only some fine music, but the best sunsets on the Northcoast.
Food and soft drinks may be available for sale, weather permitting, or bring your own picnic & cooler.
Our shows are family-friendly, and well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome! Smoking is permitted on the patio east of the clubhouse.
