Hailing from Covington Kentucky, The Newbees will be making their Cleveland premier at the ESPC!
The Newbees catalog of originals and unique arrangements of classics defines their style. Veterans of the cruise ship circuit, in just a couple of years they went from an unknown support act on the “70’s Rock and Romance Cruise” to literally owning the audience. People are booking the cruise just to see them.
Back home, The Newbees are popular headliners at the annual Abbey Road on the River Beatle Fest, and are well known in the Southern Ohio music scene.
The Newbees have a passion for the music of the Beatles – they do it for the love of the greatest popular music of all time. For the East Shore Park gig, where they will perform The Beatles’ “Abbey Road” album in its entirety, they will be backed by a full string section and a brass band to creating a powerhouse of 14 musicians. The “Bad Ass Brass Band” member Maurice has played with Jason Scheff of Chicago.
With unparalleled musicianship and some of the best music ever written, this will be a show not to be missed.
Special thanks to Scott H at Ghost AV for sponsoring this exclusive performance!
All concerts are FREE and open to the public, but we do ask for donations at the break to help subsidize the payment of the bands and other productions costs. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, relax on the shore of Lake Erie, and enjoy not only some fine music, but the best sunsets on the Northcoast.
