Greater Cleveland Food Bank connects folks to food assistance including local food pantries, hot meals, and free, fresh produce distributions. Salvation Army Cleveland Temple Corps has a mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Cuyahoga County Diversion Center allows family, friends or individuals seeking assistance with mental illness or substance use issues to receive the help, care and linkage to community resources they need in a treatment environment rather than going to jail. Behavioral health specialists are available 24/7 to provide a phone screening and discuss treatment options. Visit their website or call 216-623-6888.

United Way of Greater Cleveland provides real-time help for people in need through their Community Hub for Basic Needs, and 211 hotline. They are also working on concrete solution to address the root causes of poverty such as housing instability, racism and childhood trauma through community collaborations across the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
