June 28 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
South Bronx activist Major Carter likes to say “You don’t have to move to live in a better neighborhood.”
What could we do to make this neighborhood better?
Join the conversation at Common Ground Neighbor Night. It’s a place for neighbors to meet up and connect around what’s important to them.
Neighbor Night offers a structure for us to connect, not an agenda:
6:00 pm Doors open • Dinner served
6:30 pm Welcome & Check in
6:40 pm Business of the network, where you host and/or participate in a small group discussion about a topic that’s important to you.
7:15 pm Marketplace, your chance to make an offer, request or declaration.
7:30 pm Check out; What are you leaving with?
All ages welcome. Vegan options will be provided. Please register your interest here so that dinner can be planned accordingly.
Topics of discussion for June include affordable home improvements, support in recovery from substance use, racial healing, and any of the topics of ongoing action including litter pickups/recycling, community wide yard sale, Euclid Beach master planning, etc.
