Event Series Event Series: Common Ground Neighbor Night

April 25 @ 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

South Bronx activist Major Carter likes to say “You don’t have to move to live in a better neighborhood.”

What could we do to make this neighborhood better?

Join the conversation at Common Ground Neighbor Night. It’s a place for neighbors to meet up and connect around what’s important to them.

Neighbor Night offers a structure for us to connect, not an agenda:

6:00 pm Doors open • Dinner served
6:30 pm Welcome & Check in
6:40 pm Business of the network, where you host and/or participate in a small group discussion about a topic that’s important to you.
7:15 pm Marketplace, your chance to make an offer, request or declaration.
7:30 pm Check out; What are you leaving with?

Expected topics of discussion during business of the network this month include:

  • How can we connect to manufacturing jobs in the area?
  • What can we do to support Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park and its residents?
  • Who’s talking trash about litter in the neighborhood, and how can you get involved?

All ages welcome, guided children’s activities will be provided. Vegan options will be provided. Please register your interest here so that dinner can be planned accordingly.
