April 25 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

South Bronx activist Major Carter likes to say “You don’t have to move to live in a better neighborhood.”
What could we do to make this neighborhood better? How might we build on a full year of neighbor nights to make lasting change?
Join the conversation at Common Ground Neighbor Night. It’s a place for neighbors to meet up and connect around what’s important to them.
Neighbor Night offers a structure for us to connect, not an agenda:
6:00 pm Doors open • Dinner served
6:30 pm Welcome & Check in
6:40 pm Business of the network, where you host and/or participate in a small group discussion about a topic that’s important to you.
7:15 pm Marketplace, your chance to make an offer, request or declaration.
7:30 pm Check out; What are you leaving with?
Expected topics of discussion during business of the network this month include:
- How can we maintain and improve our unique older homes, and/or age in place?
- What can we do to increase access to fresh food at Euclid Beach?
- What’s the latest/how can we support our neighbors in the Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park?
- Whatever you might be sitting with. . .
All ages welcome, guided children’s activities will be provided. Vegan options will be provided. Please register your interest here so that dinner can be planned accordingly.
