Euclid Beach Park is again “open for the season” in this 18th annual free public event.
You can stroll around the grounds and discover a favorite spot, and look at photo posters with information about the rides that were at the Park. Euclid Beach Park Now Board Members are happy to share information about the park history. Take advantage of the scenic lake views from the Euclid Beach Pier.
The traffic circle in the park will be the site of this year’s “The Cars We Drove to Euclid Beach Car Show”. The area focuses on displaying automobiles that families would have driven to the park from 1901 through 1969 and the car show has expanded to all classic vehicles. Dash plaques available to the first 200 cars that arrive on site.
The Picnic Pavilion Memory Lane will house displays of amusement parks that operated in and around the Cleveland area. Amusement park souvenirs and books will be available for purchase. Several non-profit organizations will be present this day to present resources to the community.
To supply the sounds of Euclid Beach Park’, WIXY1260 online will be playing the music that we heard at the many summer concerts by pop groups at Euclid Beach Park, and will take special requests from patrons.
