Collinwood is a plucky slice of heaven in northeast Cleveland. Made up of parts of historic Collinwood Village and Nottingham Township, Collinwood runs along Lake Erie’s shoreline between Bratenahl and Euclid. The southern boundary is the highland area south of Euclid Avenue, going up to East Cleveland and the Heights.
It’s bisected by the CSX railyard and the Route 2/I-90 Shoreway, with exits at Eddy Road, E. 140th, E. 152nd/156th, and E. 185th Street.
Economic centers include E. 185th Street, Lakeshore Boulevard, the Waterloo Arts District, Five Points, home to the Railroaders of Collinwood High School.
Residential neighborhoods are too numerous to mention but are filled with people whose tenacity and love of community have inspired this grassroots effort for more than a decade.
