Community Workshop is a Cleveland-based, fully-remote nonprofit consultancy working at the intersection of community building and design. The workshop incorporated in May 2021 as a nonprofit in Ohio for the purpose of creating and holding space for asset-based grassroots projects that
- Address emerging challenges, or pilot new strategies to tend to endemic issues, and/or
- Cross existing boundaries of geography, systems, or philanthropic interest.
The Internal Revenue Service determined Community Workshop to be a tax-exempt public charity under IRC section 501(c) 3 effective April 9, 2025.
As such, we are happy to serve as the administrative home of Food For All Euclid Beach, The Scoop on Summer in Collinwood, Lead Safe and Green, and to offer capacity-building support on a contract basis.
